NYRA – Saratoga Race Course, 1863 Club

Construction Start Date September 4, 2018 The site of the At the Rail Pavilion has officially become the new 1863 Club at the Saratoga Racecourse. MLB worked through the grueling winter months to get the foundations in place and literally had a race to the finish to get the project completed before opening day. Construction Cost Contract Amount = $2,434,700 Size 17,000 sf Special Distinctions Timeline Requirements Contract Date September 2017 Completion Date December 2017 The addition to the Bear Den Lodge at Whiteface Ski Resort brought a new client to the table for MLB Construction. The Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) selected MLB to build a 17,000sf addition to their children’s lodge. This project featured phased construction and a multi-prime approach. Morocco Pavilion at Epcot – Kissimmee, FL

Walt Disney World Resort The Morocco Pavilion is part of the World Showcase within Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort and was the first expansion pavilion to be built, opening in 1984. The Pavilion was designed to look like a Moroccan city, with a realistic Minaret and features the restaurant, Marrakesh with distinctive arched columns, beamed ceilings, and massive carved wooden doors. Desmond Hotel

As a previous client, The Desmond called upon MLB to assist with design changes to the existing pool facility in the center of the building’s courtyard. After review, it was determined that the area would be best be suited as a large banquet room with a central fountain in order to host events. Working closely with the owner, MLB was able to transform the space safely and efficiently.

Star Lake Camp

Star Lake Camp was a design build proposal for the stabilizing of two Dams. Complete replacing of the administration building and the infirmary building along with providing additional housing at the camp on the second floors of both buildings. MLB replaced 7 existing cabins that were useable only one season to 5 cabins that are year-round facilities which will house 32 people for each event. MLB installed a complete sprinkler protection and fire alarm systems to bring the Camp safety up to standard.

Surfside on the Lake Upgrades

Marked as being MLB’s first waterfront hotel, Surfside on the Lake has over 26 Lakefront suites overlooking Lake George, and a 2,500 square foot Roof Top Terrace with panoramic views of the Lake. The buildings were designed and constructed to respect the topography of the site, enhance views, expand landscaped areas, and eliminate storm water runoff into Lake George.

Sagamore Lodge Renovations

This project consisted of a phased renovation of 119 condominium lodges. Units were dismantled and reconstructed, fireplaces were replaced, and considerable bathroom and bedroom modifications were accomplished in each of the seven, multi-unit buildings.

Mile Lake Village

MLB completely renovated the exterior of the Mile Lake Village condominiums at the Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club in Palm City, Florida. The project, which features twenty condo units in five buildings, each received new windows, stucco, paint, brick pavers, architectural steel stairs and railings. There will also be renovations on the bike barn, cart barn, pool house and pool patio.
