SUNY Plattsburgh’s Memorial hall houses campus athletics, recreation, wellness, sports medicine and fitness center. While Memorial Hall had received some upgrades over the years, very little had changed to the building since its initial construction in 1962. In order to achieve the campus goals, a complete gut renovation to most of the building and reorganization of the space plan on all three levels was needed. This special 90,000 sqft renovation went from being an aquatic pool into a $12 million 3-floor multilevel athletic facility. During the time of construction, the existing occupied building included structural and non structural removals, structural systems, finishes, MEP work and more.
MLB was also recently awarded the SUNY Plattsburgh Memorial Hall Phase 2 project due to be completed in 2024.
