The renovation and expansion happening at the Albany International Airport is an interesting one for MLB in that a large part of the project is taking down and replacing something we built to begin with. Back in (Chloe to put in year), MLB completed the construction of the rotunda and pedestrian bridge that have now been brought to the ground. In the first phase of the project – known as bid package 2 – MLB with the help of various subcontractors will be completing the majority of the site work, the mass demolition required for the new pedestrian bridge, micropiles, foundations, and the structural steel. Current projections put the placing of the slabs towards the end of summer 2024.
