Durham Regional Hospital was aware that they needed to treat Medicaid patients in a different environment from the existing hospital campus. A new concept was designed to build an office that would cater to only Medicaid patients and be placed in a retail mall. The center includes a comfortable waiting area, examination rooms, administrative offices, a conference room and a kitchen.
