This state-of-the-art music teaching, practice and performance facility features an acoustically tunable 100 seat lecture, rehearsal and recital hall, a sophisticated music technology studio, a world music room, a choral music room, high-tech classrooms, faculty offices, and multiple soundproof practice rooms with decoupled walls and ceilings throughout.

The project involved a total gut renovation of the historic North Colonnade and a 5,000 SF addition for the Emerson Recital Hall.  Completely new mechanical and electrical systems were required along with the latest sound, lighting and control systems.

Highly detailed millwork and special finishes add to the grace and elegance of this construction masterpiece.  MLB was instrumental in identifying opportunities for cost savings to optimize the project budget.
