Built in 1924 as the
first new building on the College of Saint Rose campus, St. Joseph
Hall contained the chapel and auditorium, kitchen and dining room,
classrooms, laboratories, and student rooms. After three-quarters of
a century of active and varied service and use, St. Joe's was totally
gutted and re-built from within and fitted with a magnificent new four-story
entry/access atrium. All windows were replaced and complete new mechanical
systems installed. A handsome twenty-four foot domed skylight adorns
the top floor of the spectacular new Student Services building containing
the Counseling Center, Career Center, Registrar, Financial Aid Office,
Business Office and Bursar. MLB's contribution to value engineering
and strong project management skills brought this challenging project
in on time and under budget.
