MLB performed a total gut and restoration of the historic
(1922) and architecturally significant Saunders Hall building on
the UNC-Chapel Hill campus in just 12 months, despite incurring a
significant number of change orders as a result of concealed conditions.
The project also included upgrades to meet
new building codes. New electrical, lighting, telecommunications
and HVAC systems were installed while all building spaces were refurbished,
preserving much of the original architectural features.
Now home to the University’s
Religious Studies and Geography departments as well as the Registrar’s
Office, the beautifully renewed Saunders Hall features numerous
offices, classrooms, conference rooms and computer labs.
