Rapid transformation of a 30
year-old commercial hotel into an attractive, functional, code-compliant Student Residence is the essence of this fast-paced design-build project. New windows and exterior treatments made a dramatic change in the outside appearance. Completely new mechanical and electrical systems, combined with the creation of attractive new social and common spaces, have transformed the interior warmth of the facility. A totally new kitchen now facilitates effective use of the fully renovated hospitality spaces for special events.

The bottom line - $10 million worth of work put in place in just seven months! Solid testimony to MLB's ability to perform which was given special recognition in the form of the 2006 Build New York Award for Excellence in Construction Management and Teamwork.
