Empire State College's Distance Learning facility was
designed for an empty lot in an historic neighborhood of Saratoga Springs.
While the exterior facade references Victorian design features, the
18,000 sq. ft. building contains facilities for video conferencing,
broadcast studios, faculty development laboratories, "smart" workstations
and training rooms. The state-of-the-art facility allows students at
42 Empire State College locations and at international sites to participate
in the college's programs from a distance.
